Gador Salís started with a background in graphic design for advertising and photography, which has expanded over time to include other materials such as ceramics and painting, which are currently her primary means of expression.
Photography is a fundamental element in her practice, capturing much of the content that she later shapes and expands. Her areas of interest include nature and its changing states, as well as botany and its systems of representation.
She reinterprets fragments of the environment through careful observation and playful, fun, and fantastical experimentation.
